The measles vaccine can make you come…… measles!

I read from the technical sheet of the Priorix of GSK Vaccine (vivo) antimorbillo, antiparotite e antirosolia (pag.6 )

“Data from post-marketing surveillance
During post-marketing surveillance, The following additional adverse reactions have been reported following the vaccination with PRIORIX.
Because these adverse reactions have been reported spontaneously, it is not possible to make a reliable estimate of the their frequency.
Infections and infestations: Meningitis, orchite, epididymitis, mild or attenuated atypical measles, mumps-like syndrome
Disorders of the blood and lymphatic system: Thrombocytopenia, thrombocytopenic purpura
Disorders of the immune system: Anaphylactic reactions
Nervous system disorders: Transverse myelitis, Guillain Barre syndrome, neurite periferica, encephalitis*
Skin and subcutaneous tissue disorders: Erythema multiforme
Musculoskeletal and connective tissue disorders: Arthralgia, arthritis
General disorders and administration site conditions: Kawasaki Syndrome

* Encephalitis has been reported at a frequency of less than 1 every 10 millions of doses. The risk of encephalitis following vaccine administration is well below the risk of encephalitis caused by natural diseases (measles: 1 every 1000-2000 almost; mumps: 2-4 every 1000 almost; Rubella: approximately 1 every 6000 almost).
Accidental intravascular administration may lead to severe reactions or even shock. Immediate action depends on the severity of the reaction (see paragraph 4.4).
