If you have to ask permission to exercise your freedom it means that you are not actually free. When a subject is sovereign, can decide for itself, and self-determination, he has no duty at all to ask others for permission to decide. In the “crust” what prevents us from being free is the idea that we should hold a referendum to exercise our freedom and independence as a people. This is indeed the last psychological barrier the regime can invent, and when we will overcome this last obstacle, we will become free.
