Overcoming secession and the independence referendum
Secession is an idea to be buried under the new awareness: we are already free, legally and from the beginning, but we are unable to manage our freedom . What prevents this is the robust crust of cultural limits, psychological and organizational aspects that have inculcated a century and a half of Italian colonization, period in which through wars and terrorism at home we have been conditioned to suffer exploitation. http://www.lombardo-veneto.net/
If you have to ask permission to exercise your freedom it means that you are not actually free. When a subject is sovereign, can decide for itself, and self-determination, he has no duty at all to ask others for permission to decide. In the “crust” what prevents us from being free is the idea that we should hold a referendum to exercise our freedom and independence as a people. This is indeed the last psychological barrier the regime can invent, and when we will overcome this last obstacle, we will become free. Even more, it is a perfect barrier that in addition to convincing you that you have to ask for the referendum, at the same time it deludes you that you can have it, while it is impossible in the power structure, in the current yoke of the laws. When a sovereign people pursues a referendum for independence, in fact he gives up his freedom, confirms that he is not sovereign, to still be part, of having to secede. And this is not the case for the Lombardy-Veneto State, which, being occupied, has no duty to ask permission to free itself. If anything, what he must ask for is compensation for the damage.
