E’ the independence of Lombardy-Venetia is possible? AND ( part 4 of 6 )
Marco recalled that the Constitutional Court by virtue of Article 5 of the Constitution. declared the impossibility of the Veneto Region (but in each region) the secession, and it is obvious and natural for an organ of the Italian Republic, Rather, this was already sanctioned with the sentence 365 of the 2007.
My article on Lombardy-Venetia showed precisely that for international law it is not necessarily Italian territory, right that prevails over the Constitution pursuant to Article 10. On the other hand, with the Treaty of Osimo 1971 Italy would have ceded Istria and Dalmatia to Yugoslavia, in violation of Article 5 of the Constitution, if this was possible, it cannot now be said that there is no precedent.
If, as Marco says, the Italian Republic has article 5 of the Constitution as its fundamental pillar, then I fear that this is not a sufficient basis for the future, certainly not politically or culturally, nor can it justify the condition in which Venetian citizens subjected to corruption live,to inefficiency , to servitude to foreign powers that use them as medical guinea pigs, plus institutionally oppressed by systematic exclusion to high state offices as magistrates, prefects, etc. etc. Penalized in schools and universities despite international tests showing excellent results, forced to pay much more taxes in the face of a territory of very high tax evasion, etc. etc. etc..
Sooner or later the Venetian citizens will divorce this state to invoke something else, Rather, not only the Venetians but all peoples of the states pre-unification. On the contrary, it seems clear to me that these aspirations for something else are increasingly frequent, and this was the drive we had towards Europe, or for some the Secession, and today I see more and more interest in a foreign power like Russia. I am proposing for years that the return to the pre-unification States free from debt (why invaded) it's our only option, preferably in a confederation of free states to leave when they want.
