The pyramid in Mount Padang (Indonesia) retrodatata a 27.000 Years ago, rewritten human history.
Archaeological field research analyzed the Gunung Padang pyramid in Indonesia, already known for over a century, backdating its first construction to 27.000 Years ago.
They would thus be outclassed Djoser's first colossal Egyptian pyramid, dating back to 4.600 years, but also the oldest megalithic site of Göbekli Tepe in Türkiye, built approx 11.000 Years ago.
The co-author of the work Danny Hilman Natawidjaja, geologist at the National Agency for Research and Innovation (BRIN) in Bandung, in Indonesia states that “The pyramid has become a symbol of advanced civilization.[..] It is not easy to build pyramids. It is necessary to have high masonry skills”.
By analyzing the Gunung Padang pyramid with various electromagnetic scanners and core samples, the researchers verified the existence of different layers from different eras, the first would date back to 27.000 years.
The study was published on “Archaeological Prospection” THE 23 November 2023, and taken from Nature il 28 November 2023.
Since human history would be rewritten, an intense debate has already broken out over the meaning of the site.
In the past, some critics have argued that the pyramid lacked clear evidence of human construction, suggesting natural movements of the rock, but they were later denied. To date, no serious objections to the new perspective have yet been revealed.
