How valuable in economic terms the Venetian national rights?
The fact that we managed to bring home the recognition that the Venetian people entitled to the rights of the nation sister of the Italian, will have a huge impact from an economic and social point of view.
On the social and cultural impact and identity of the Venetians I have already written and in any case just read the Framework Convention on National Minorities to understand it.
On the economic impact, no one has yet said anything yet, For the simple reason that it is frightening.
We start from an assumption: citizens of the Veneto region alone leave to the state every year 21 billion euros, is the so -called “fiscal residue”. E’ the hyperbolic figure of 4200 euro per year each, including newborns, and malati, the students, the elderly and other non-technically productive categories.
This figure is given by how much the residents annually pay deducted of what they receive return to services.
This is also confirmed by past studies of the Cgia di Mestre and Unioncamere del Veneto, but they can also be verified from Eurostat data on income.
However, these are calculated data not taking into account some fundamental voices.
Ade example VAT, which is already a tax to the consumer, worth about 20%, that for about a quarter is evaded in Italy, here too with big differences between region and region. And it is necessary to keep the VAT data linked to that of GDP, which also contains the company turnover.
For example, The province of Bolzano also holds VAT, so it favors companies that make tax offices in that territory that more than taxes leave this tax to the province.
In other words, on the one hand we can safely estimate that each resident of the Veneto regions, Lombardy, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Piedmont and Emilia -Romagna is looted each year by approx 5000 euros on average (At least), But we can also say that this value is actually much greater because in a virtual scenario of autonomy the values would spill high and a lot, Since the Pil values of the economy created by the reinvestments of VAT would be raised, which today simply end up in waste and in the partitocratic assistentialism of other regions.
Finally, Since about culture and identity are about about Venetian 8 million of people, between Bergamo and Udine including Trento and Trieste, we arrive at this data
8.000.000 X 5.000 = 40 billion euros.
which is the value (very underestimated) of the economic impact of the Venetian question for the state budget.
Mind you, The state will not see its GDP reduced, it will probably see it increase, but he will see him relocated from a voice to others, And for the state there will be the advantage of seeing better use the resources, Above all, seeing herself forced to cut those bags of illegality that then generate corruption and mafia, that is, political and economic instability, In short, low production and crime.
In the end all this will be good for Italy, as well as for the Venetians. Provided that the supreme government of Italy understands it, Which did not happen with the recent appeal in the Constitutional Court against the Reg. 28/2016 Law of Veneto.
If they don't understand it, there will be big problems in its place, because in the event of negation of these rights Italy will simply lose the Lombard-Veneto. In fact, the denial of human rights of the Venetians will legally give them the right to the unilateral declaration of independence without even a referendum.
