I dati che i ga xe parte, inte’l senso che i xe na parte, parché no i conta i veneto-foni del Braxiłe, e de parte parché i ga scrito che i parlanti veneto i capise anca l’ italiano.
Sto ultimo fato no xe vero, come dimostrà dai tanti croati che parla Veneto (che i ło ciama “Talian” ) ma no i mastega el Italiano . Stesa roba in Braxiłe, dove i capise el Braxiłian ma no el Italiano.
http://www.autogoverno.net/lengua
Eco ła letara, e drio ła risposta, tuto in inglexa.

Subject Data about Venetian (code vec )
Hi, About Venetian, code vec, I urge You to consider that in Histria (Croatia and Slovenia), they talk veneto, but they refer with the ancient word of “Talian”.
I’m native speaker of Venetian , and I assure that Talian is exactly veneto with a 100% full reciprocal understanding.
Moreover, due to emigration of around 4 milion persono from Venetia to Brazil in late XIX century, actually in Rio Grande do Sul, a State of Brazil, 2 milion person that Talian , and literature is full intelligible each other.
As in Histria, Brasilian of Rio Grande call “talian” the Venetian language.
In Rio Grande do Sul the talian’s cultural activities and the use of Venetian is stronger than in Italy, and they are near to legal recognition of the language by the Brasil republic.
I readed some text from authors there, like Lutazzi, and they talk 100% Veneto fully understable by venetian readers.
Please see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talian or http://open-encyclopedia.com/Talian
But, this people do not understand Italian as difficults at Croatian from Histria (that are closer)
By consequence it’s not true that “Speakers also use Italian” as stated in Ethologue http://www.ethnologue.com/show_language.asp?code=vec
Please, verify my affirmation and update data .

Loris, Thank you for these comments.
They are very helpful. Updates will appear in the 16th edition, at which time the website will also be updated–probably early 2009. Best regards,
